While we always try to provide the best installation possible, it should be understood that there is no such thing as a “perfect tint job” Please read this disclosure to understand what to expect.

Our window tint installations are backed by a lifetime warranty against fading, peeling and bubbling (from the date of the installation) for as long as you own the vehicle; this warranty is not transferable. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by an individual/ pets, i.e. scratches, dings, jewelry or seat belt nicks. 

Although a virtually clear film may have been applied to your windshield, windshield tint DOES NOT have any warranty. Most film manufacturers do not warranty windshield applications, as windshields are not legal to tint in most states regardless of how clear the film is. If the film fails in the future, the customer understands that they are responsible for the cost of removal and replacement. Even though you may have been supplied with warranty information, you should understand that honoring of the warranty will be at the sole discretion of the window film manufacturer.

In order to schedule an appointment we may require an appointment deposit. Appointment deposits are refundable if you cancel your appointment more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We accept Venmo, and all major credit card brands. This deposit will be credited towards your overall balance. If you need to reschedule, but did not cancel your appointment 48 hours before your appointment you will need to submit a second $50.00 deposit. In this case ONLY the second deposit will be credited towards your overall balance.

You may notice some small moisture bubbles in your window film. Depending on the weather these bubbles will take 1 – 2 weeks to and up to 30 days to fully evaporate.

Although we strive for perfection in our window tint installations, due to the nature of installation, some degree of dust contamination and/ or minor imperfections are present in every application.
Pre-existing scratches, water spots, vertical lines, dings and rock chips that you may not have noticed previously will be accentuated after your windows have been tinted.

Some vehicles come with factory privacy glass on the rear windows. The hue and exact darkness will differ between manufacturers and models. Due to this fact it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an exact match to the factory privacy glass. While we can try to closely match the darkness of your privacy glass, it is impossible to match the exact hue of your existing glass. An exact match is never guaranteed.

Some vehicles have a black ceramic “frit”, referred to as “dot matrix” around the perimeter of the rear glass and on some quarter windows. Window tint has a harder time sticking to these small dots, resulting in a silver look called “silvering”.

When removing tint PLEASE NOTE that WE ARE NOT liable for damaged defroster lines. Although we are very careful, some defroster lines can get damaged during this risky process.

In some scenarios it may be necessary for the customer to replace the rear window in lieu of tint removal prior to tinting, as old tint can get “baked” onto the glass over time, making removal near impossible.
Tinting cars can be risky as there are electrical components, fine leather on most vehicles and water needs to be used for the tint application. Although we are extremely careful, this application can potentially damage such items thereof.

If you opt to have your windshield tinted, please note that you may experience a rainbow appearance depending on the windshield’s glass type, interior color or sun angle. We may decline to tint windshields on select vehicles due to known difficulties, or risks; we will perform a quick inspection to see if it qualifies for installation. Please note that It is very likely that you may see a small degree of dust contamination and/ or creases, small imperfections due to the difficulty of installation. –

When animal hair is present in a vehicle it increases the chance of hair being trapped between the film and glass. Customers should take necessary steps to clean the vehicle’s interior if they know animals have been present in their vehicle. We cannot not guarantee that these hairs will not get in the way of the tint installation. We will try to remove hairs behind the film if we notice it during installation, but you should understand that we are not liable if animal hair is trapped behind the film.

Although 5% film offers the most privacy possible, please note that even with a 5% tint you WILL NOT get 100% privacy, as window tint is not completely opaque; Please keep in mind that your two front 2 windows will always appear lighter than the rear windows even when using same darkness because the front 2 windows are located near the windshield where there is a great deal of light coming into the vehicle.

Please remove booster seats, valuable items, money, weapons, drugs, anything of value/ importance from the vehicle prior to your appointment. Sunblock Window Tint is not liable for lost or stolen items.

We work with soapy water which drips onto our floor. Please be careful when/ if walking on our floors at all times, as it is very slippery.

I understand that the legal limit for Window Tint in Utah is 35% on the front doors.

I understand that tinting my windows (even with the lightest available option) will reduce visibility further than windows as they come from the factory.

I agree to hold Sunblock Window Tint harmless and indemnify them for any issues, infractions, accidents, deaths, demands or losses that may arise as a result of my choice of film darkness.

Sunblock Window Tint accepts the following forms of payment CASH, VENMO, DEBIT CARD, and all major credit card brands. Credit card transactions or subject to a 3% transaction fee, which is not greater than our cost of accepting credit cards. This transaction fee is based on your transaction grand total, which includes the cost of all goods and services, fees and sales tax. Cash, Venmo, and Debit Card transactions are not subject to this surcharge.

ALL TINT SALES ARE FINAL; MAKE SURE THAT YOU SELECT THE CORRECT FILM AND PERCENTAGE AS WE DON’T ISSUE REFUNDS AFTER THE TINT HAS BEEN APPLIED.

By signing below you are releasing Sunblock Window Tint from any liability, claims or demands and understand that Sunblock Window Tint is not responsible, or to be held liable for ANY potential issues/ losses that may arise during the window tint application or after the installation. By signing below, you understand and agree to the content thereof and agree that you are performing this signature, scheduling the window tint application and selecting the percentage and placement of tint at your own will.
